How Do You Read Shakespeare Magazine? We’ve picked up a few new followers recently, and as not everyone is familiar with digital/online publications, here’s a handy guide to getting the best from Shakespeare Magazine and all its related platforms.
First up, here’s our latest issue. Just click this link to start reading.
As you can see, it’s laid out just like a paper magazine you buy at a newsagent. Depending on which device you’re using to view it, simply click, tap or swipe to turn the pages.
Shakespeare Magazine is hosted by a platform called ISSUU, where you can read all 15 issues of the magazine completely FREE.
And if you click to ‘Follow’ us via ISSUU (also free, and easy to do), then you can download every issue of Shakespeare Magazine as a PDF. Read it offline, share it, or even print it out.
Many people read Shakespeare Magazine on their phones. But you may find it benefits from a bigger screen, such as a laptop, desktop computer or Apple Mac.
In terms of user experience, perhaps the best way to read Shakespeare Magazine is on a tablet or iPad, using the free ISSUU app.
If you have an android device, the app is available from Google Play. Here’s the link.
And if you want to read Shakespeare Magazine on an Apple device, ISSUU apps for iPad and iPhone are available free at the App Store. Here’s the link.
Personally, we love reading Shakespeare Magazine via the ISSUU app on our trusty old iPad.
As a backup, Shakespeare Magazine is also hosted on a platform called YUMPU. Some readers prefer this format, and again the magazine is available as a PDF.
Apart from Shakespeare Magazine itself, we also have this very website, of course, where we publish Shakespeare articles, news and opinion.
And, as you would expect, Shakespeare Magazine has a Facebook page.
Not to mention the Shakespeare Magazine Twitter feed. Our handle is @UKShakespeare
We’ve recently started a Shakespeare Magazine Instagram page as well, where we share our favourite Shakespeare-related images.
And the Shakespeare Magazine YouTube channel features classics like “Sonnet 18 on a Sledge” and “The Final Scene of Hamlet Performed with Lego”.
